Sales Executive-Dubai Region


To assist in the development of the Dubai office and trade aircraft component inventory by means of exchange, loan and sale. Develop business relationships with customers in order to maximise trading opportunities, growth in revenue and profit. To assist with the management of Dubai customer accounts ensuring on time delivery and high service level. Days of work are Sunday to Thursday. Hours are yet to be confirmed.

  • Trade Avtrade inventory by means of exchange, loan & sale
  • Check Avtrade Inventory for availability, evaluate historical data and determine ‘best price’
  • Determine if an adhoc request or covered by contract and transact accordingly
  • Ensure component condition, certification and airworthiness regulations compliance
  • Quote customers, process customer PO’s including credit check and raise sales orders
  • Purchase for specific customer requirements and brokered transactions
  • Negotiate with both customers and suppliers
  • Manage customer accounts and contracts, including customer specific requirements
  • Understand customer culture and way of trading
  • Maximise all sales opportunities and develop business opportunities with customers in the region
  • Develop Avtrade/Customer relationships and deliver high quality customer service and response
  • Provide customer single point of contact for Avtrade
  • Respond to customer AOG/priority requirements
  • Maximise revenue/profit and minimise cost
  • Coordinate with internal Avtrade departments to ensure on time delivery to the customer
  • Maintain up to date market knowledge
  • Assist with the development of the Dubai office
  • Assist the Regional Sales Manager with all tasks as required
  • Understand and adhere to Export Control regulations where relevant.
  • Any other duties as required
  • Preferred background in aviation or rotable trading
  • Comprehensive knowledge of aircraft spares preferred
  • Sales and customer support experience with the ability to deliver high level of customer service
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels, verbal and written
  • Numerate, accurate with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Self-motivated, flexible and adaptable to work in a busy environment
  • Good negotiation, organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritise and manage workloads
  • Excellent computer literacy, highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook with some experience of Quantum and web based Aircraft parts databases
  • Flexible, adaptable and self motivated with the desire to succeed
  • Excellent command of the English, Good MEAI region language skills advantageous
